GLEE the click comedy-drama musical T.V series has once again
made the headlines, but this time it involves nothing on the show
itself, but rather their female cast posing sexy (or subjective) on
GQ magazine.
Prominent GLEE female cast Lea Michelle (Rachel Berry) and Diana Agron (Quinn Fabray) who posed for the November issues on the said magazine (recently dubbed as “GLEE Gone Wild”) with their skimpy attires created stir among fans. Though mix reactions were being thrown, the harshest ones are from PTC ( Parents Television Council) who commented the pictorial is “borderline paedophilia”. Although in real life, both GLEE stars are already in their 20s but still the racy pictures didn’t sink well with parents whom kids are fan of the show.
The PTC wrote “borders on pedophilia. By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn’t good for families.”
On her Tumblr account Agron wrote, “If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?”
The show is highly anticipated due to its musical numbers within the episodes and the celebrity singer they cast in the episodes. But after the incident, it seems the anticipation is now in the newsstands for the GQ November issue.
